Climate Survey Results
The Colby-Sawyer College Sexual Assault and Violence Education (SAVE) Committee has been conducting biennial climate surveys since 2016.
The purpose of the surveys is to ascertain the incidence of unwanted sexual experience and interpersonal violence, the impacts on the student’s educational experience, to whom individuals report these incidences, and how students feel about the college’s response to sexual and interpersonal violence.
In the summer of 2021, New Hampshire enacted RSA 188-H.
This law requires the New Hampshire institutions of higher education to conduct a biennial sexual misconduct climate survey of all of their students. The state has created a base survey and Colby-Sawyer College distributed this new survey in the spring of 2022 and again in 2024. Each institution is also required to post a summary of the survey results on its website.
Below are the results of the last four surveys.
